Gums may bleed easily during brushing and flossing, gums do not bleed easily when its healthy. Gingivitis is not usually painful thus resulting to neglecting it until it can progress to more serious condition, periodontitis. Periodontitis is the advance stage of gum disease and it may require gum disease treatment. Treatment may range from non- surgical to surgical treatment depending on its severity.
